History
The story of Nu-Ray Metals begins with a metal roofing machine and a big idea. Tim Bankers came across his first metal roofing machine at a trade show in 1981 after moving to Washington state to work as an aluminum awnings installer. Inspired to start his own business, Tim used his savings to purchase the machine and launch Nu-Ray Metals.
Galvanized by Tim’s entrepreneurial spirit, Nu-Ray Metals has evolved from a local metal roofing installation company to a full-service manufacturer providing panels to contractors up and down the West Coast.
